Work involves assisting the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Information Technology with mainframe modernization and implementation of a new Corrections Information Technology System (CITS) platform. Experience: Eight (8) years of project management experience to include at least 3 years experience as lead project manager for multi-million-dollar projects PMP certification required Agile experience required Microsofts Sure Step preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of project management theories and practices applicable to projects that are highly complex in scope; systems and procedures used to evaluate a third-party vendors performance Skill in project management monitoring, addressing changes in scope and budget Ability to manage project activities; to establish project goals and objectives; to analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues; to identify project risks and gaps; manage multiple work streams; to communicate effectively; and to direct, assign, and evaluate the work of project staff.
