Required Skills:

Candidate needs experience in SnapCenter, Secure AIQ, Cluster Ontap, Snapmirror, Cohesity, Oncommand Insight (no scripting just operational). Candidate works with the Virtual Infrastructure team as well to deliver NFS Datastores, Luns, CIFS shares and any plugins needed for VMWare 6.7 and upcoming 7.x builds. Customer uses Remedy for Marine Corps Enterprise requests.

However, this is a technically robust position; we re expecting experienced consultant level knowledge (PS4+).

Scope of the Role:

Candidate reports to Civilian Enterprise Management OIC/SPE lead Nidia Gutierrez located onboard base Quantico, VA. Candidate will need to work with civilian lead for remote work approval as not all research sites are available while on customer site.

Billet requires working within the Navy's ServiceNow formerly Agile Framework

Weekly/Daily Meetings as part of the Enterprise Service Systems Team

The ESS team is comprised of teams across the Marine Corps that consist of teams from Systems Command, NWIC, Logistics, and SPE. This team plans work across Sprints. Candidate recommends Building and Design

There are 4 other Netapp SMEs across MCCOG, so candidate needs to be a very good communicator and willing to work with other Netapp Engineers as framework followed is to hand equipment off to the Maintain and Operate team known as the Hybrid Cloud Services Teams (HCIS) formerly ECIS.

They act as trusted advisor for all storage needs. Candidate should have CASP+ or higher for administrator access to customer systems. Candidate Acts as interface between the USMC (MCCOG) and NetApp

Candidate reviews existing Netapp systems and recommends Netapp Hardware maintenance renewals. Candidate may need to travel abroad to Marine Corps OCONUS/CONUS sites 2 to 3 times for new hardware setup and data migration which will be funded by T&M. A Refresh is scheduled for FY2023/24 Classified Networks.

A Candidate that has experience with Redhat/Linux would be a plus as Cloud Data Sense/Cloud Manager has future potential for Customer Data Identification.
