https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2338323&uid= Title: SQL Data Warehouse Consultant Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Visa: USC and GC Only Seeking an energetic and talented Data Warehouse Engineer in our Irving, TX Service Center to optimize and enhance the existing data cube solution for our Dynamics 365 Finance implementation. This position will work closely with the scrum team (including developers and business analysts), infrastructure team, DBAs, end users, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality solutions. This position will require occasional after-hours support during deployments and for critical issue resolution. Responsibilities Evaluate and enhance the performance of existing data warehouse solutions by applying techniques such as partitioning, indexing, and query optimization. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current data systems and work on solutions to improve performance and scalability. Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages to process and integrate data efficiently. Work with ETL processes, ensuring data flows smoothly through the system. Leverage Microsoft Azure tools like Azure Synapse Analytics to enhance and manage data movement. Work with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows and transformations. Utilize Azure-based data lakes to ensure seamless integration with data warehousing solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and optimize data solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, data quality, and ETL pipelines. Support production deployments or emergencies outside of normal business hours Document existing data processes, optimizations, and any changes made to improve system performance. Adhere to best practices for data warehousing, ETL development, and Azure solutions.
