Historically, the company's software has supported frontline workflow management (bed management, EVS, transport, diagnostics) and tightly integrated with Epic. However, as Epic has expanded into overlapping functionality, we have evolved our tech focus toward operational intelligence delivering analytics and visibility to hospital leaders around capacity, throughput, and bottlenecks. This evolution has created new challenges around integrating with Epic, both technically and strategically. Key Objectives: 1) Technical Epic Integration Support (Immediate Need) Identify a senior Epic integration expert with strong understanding of Epic's interface options (FHIR, HL7, APIs, Caboodle/Clarity) Help locate and extract specific data fields (45 known targets) from Epic in near real-time Guide us on how to access these data streams via customer environments, while navigating Epic's limited access for third parties Ideally, this individual can act as an advisor and/or intermediary with hospital clients' Epic admins to facilitate data access 2) Process Implementation & Epic Usage Advisory (Phase Two) Help us build training and implementation guidance for hospital clients on how to use Epic in alignment with our operational models Unlike previous tools that enforced workflows natively, the current model requires behavior change within Epic itself Requires someone who understands Epic configuration and workflows from a clinical operations perspective 3) Long-Term Product Strategy (Phase Three) Advise us on where and how our products can coexist with or integrate into Epic environments in the long term Evaluate options to embed or overlay our functionality within Epic (e.g., white-label, app integration, co-developed tools) Help assess market-facing strategies that consider IT buyer concerns about supporting multiple tech systems Ideal Consultant Profiles: Technical Lead: Former Epic employee or consultant with deep cross-functional knowledge of Epics data architecture, interface options, and system integration practices Implementation Specialist: Experience in Epic hospital implementations, training clinicians and operators on workflow adoption Strategic Advisor: Healthcare product strategist with familiarity in EHR partnerships, platform embedding, or competitive coexistence with Epic PROJECT LOGISTICS Possible travel Atlanta area.
