Role: Senior Data Quality and Automation Engineer Duration: 12 Months Location: Orlando FL (Hybrid 2-3 Days) Job Description: Senior Data Quality and Automation Engineer engineering teams to Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Quality and Automation Engineer to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data across our restaurant operations, supply chain, customer insights, and financial systems. ecosystem. This role will focus on designing and implementing data quality frameworks, automation processes, and governance standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, testing, and automation, along with a strong background in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data platforms. Key Responsibilities: Data Quality & Governance Develop and implement data quality frameworks, validation rules, and monitoring systems. Establish best practices for data governance, metadata management, and lineage tracking. Identify and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and integrity issues. Collaborate with data define and enforce data quality standards. Work closely with data engineers to optimize and validate ETL pipelines Automation & Testing Design and build automated data quality checks and anomaly detection processes. Implement continuous testing frameworks for ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms. Develop self-healing and auto-correction mechanisms for data pipelines. Leverage AI/ML techniques for proactive data quality monitoring and prediction. Collaboration & Reporting Partner with business intelligence and analytics teams to improve data usability. Provide insights and reports on data quality trends and improvements. Train and mentor junior engineers on best practices in data quality engineering. Required Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in data quality, automation, or data engineering roles. Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for automation and scripting. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, IICS, ADF) and data services. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and infrastructure as code. Experience with real-time data processing tools (Kafka, Spark, etc.) is a plus. Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc.) is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in data engineering or cloud platforms. Experience with AI-driven data quality techniques. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
