Please find the detailed job description and let me know your interest, Job Title: Technical Architect Location: Auburn Hills, MI Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite 3 Days/Week) Duration: Long-term Contract Rate : $65/hr on C2C Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, microservices, and modern integration patterns. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in advanced technologies, including 6+ years as a hands-on architect, and demonstrate strong command over distributed systems, DevOps practices, and containerized platforms. Automotive industry experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Architect and design enterprise-grade, cloud-native solutions leveraging Spring Boot, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. Model systems architecture using C4 Model, UML, or similar frameworks to communicate complex design concepts. Lead cloud integration efforts across GCP and AWS platforms. Define and enforce best practices for microservices architecture, API strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and secure application development. Partner with development leads to guide the implementation of scalable, maintainable solutions. Participate in architecture review boards, providing documentation, data flow diagrams, and system-level design artifacts. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, security, infrastructure) to align technical strategies with business objectives. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience; 6+ years in a technical architect role. Deep expertise in: Spring Boot / Java Kafka (event-driven architecture) Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS CI/CD Pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven) Containers: Docker & Orchestration: Kubernetes Modeling: C4 Model, UML NoSQL Databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase) Strong understanding of modern integration patterns and secure design principles. Solid experience working in hybrid environments with high-performing teams. Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
