The ideal candidate will be responsible for performance tuning, process automation, and collaborating with development teams to enhance system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures (SP), functions, and triggers. Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts, packages, and functions for database automation and process improvements. Implement and optimize database indexing, query performance tuning, and partitioning strategies. Collaborate with Java developers to integrate databases with Java-based applications. Design and maintain ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and integration. Troubleshoot database issues, deadlocks, slow queries, and performance bottlenecks. Manage database security, backups, and recovery strategies. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Maintain documentation for database architectures, configurations, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL development. Strong expertise in Stored Procedures (SPs) development. Hands-on experience in Java programming for database integration and application development. Proficiency in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server databases. Experience in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing. Knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling. Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting, and batch processing. Experience with Unix/Linux scripting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Creating DDL for the DBA to execute for creating and maintaining the DB objects.
