The goal is to create accurate forecasts that inform inventory decisions and production planning. This often involves using statistical models and collaborating with sales, marketing, and finance teams. 2. Replenishment Planning: This focuses on managing inventory levels to meet forecasted demand while minimizing costs. This includes determining optimal order quantities, managing safety stock, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. The goal is to balance service levels (meeting customer demand) with inventory costs (holding excess stock). 3. JDA Software Proficiency: The core of these roles involves using JDAs supply chain planning software. This requires expertise in using the various modules related to demand planning and replenishment, including data entry, analysis, report generation, and system maintenance. Specific modules used might vary depending on the company and its needs. 4.
