Job Description Developing effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. As directed, analyzes system requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements simple to moderate software applications. 5+ years exp Team culture: 5 partners (FTEs) on team DevOps centric groupteam does it all Weekly pager rotation Responsibly for building, testing, and deployment Key projects: Modern Authentication & Authorization M&A Next for MFA Integrating with 3rd-party vendor to leverage mobile network Daily schedule: Designs and develops Microservices using REST principles. Troubleshoots and debugs APIs across service boundaries. Act as a leader and subject matter expert for APIs in our domain. Collaborates with partner teams across the company. Writes clear, concise, and testable code. Develops unit, integration, and load tests for new code. Automates deployments via CI/CD pipelines. Creates and maintains existing alerts and dashboards. Operates in a full-stack DevOps team environment with on-call shift rotation. Contributes meaningful feedback in peer code reviews. Mentors junior developers. Basic Qualifications 7+ years of experience in C#, ASP.NET, and Web API. 2+ years of .NET Core. 2+ years of experience developing and operating services in AWS. 5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Dynamo DB and PostgreSQL required). 3+ years of AWS experience with Dynamo DB, API Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, EC2, and other AWS services. 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes 2+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, RESTful services, and associated performance and security best practices. Experience with breaking the monolith and uplifting existing services from on-prem to cloud strongly preferred. 2+ years of experience in CI/CD automation, infrastructure ownership, monitoring, and alerting configuration. Experience operating in a 24x7 production environment. Go experience a nice-to-have. Strong interpersonal skills. Bachelors degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience. Ability to own the implementation and delivery of large features with minimal supervision.
