This role will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Directory Services, responsible for designing, implementing, and securing enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting IAM security solutions, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, and supporting a highly available and secure infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:Architectural & Engineering Responsibilities Serve as an SME for Directory Services (AD/AAD) within the IAM services portfolio. Architect, design, and implement security solutions for Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related IAM technologies. Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and onboard new technologies to enhance AD/AAD security. Design and implement Windows Hello for Business, MFA, Conditional Access, Entra Lifecycle Management, Secure Service Edge, Authentication Strengths, and Application Management. Deploy Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI) on domain controllers, integrating it with Syslog servers for security event monitoring. Architect solutions for Active Directory disaster recovery using Quest On-Demand Recovery, RMAD, and Forest Recovery. Design and implement Azure AD B2B solutions and multi-factor authentication strategies. Ensure compliance with Zero Trust principles through Conditional Access policies for identity, device, and cloud applications.Operations & Security Oversight Manage day-to-day operations, changes, escalations, and incident resolution related to AD and AAD. Configure and manage Active Directory infrastructure on Windows Server. Administer and enhance Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), including Group Policies, software deployments, folder redirections, and administrative templates. Work with Azure AD and Azure AD Connect to ensure seamless identity synchronization and security. Enforce IAM security standards, policies, and best practices across the organization. Provide governance, metrics, and documentation to ensure the integrity and compliance of IAM processes. Collaborate with global teams across the U.S., India, and EMEA to support IAM initiatives.Testing & Risk Management Conduct performance testing, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity planning for AD/AAD. Minimize security risks by implementing robust IAM engineering methodologies and architectural principles. Monitor IAM infrastructure to proactively identify and mitigate security threats.Required Qualifications: Bachelors or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering. 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-class IAM/security solutions. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, IAM, SSO, LDAP, PKI, IGA, and enterprise security best practices. Experience with Power scripting for automating AD/AAD administration tasks. Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and modern authentication frameworks. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a highly matrixed organization.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Defender for Identity (MDI) and Azure AD Conditional Access. Hands-on experience with Quest On-Demand Recovery, RMAD, and AD Forest Recovery. Knowledge of ADFS, Entra Lifecycle Management, and Secure Service Edge. Previous experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., ITAR, NIST, CMMC).
