Please note, this is a fully remote position, however, a 100% remote contractor may be required to travel to meet with the State of Michigan, at the discretion of the State of Michigan, if a face-to-face meeting is deemed necessary for incident resolution.Description: Our client is looking for a Human Resources Business Analyst who can rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently perform a variety of complicated tasks. Tasks Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Prepare solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Prepare and document Functional and Technical Specifications for reporting and data warehouse work. Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements. Develop RFPs. Assist in deployment and management of end-user reporting tools and platforms. Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions. Document and provide knowledge transfer to the rest of the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions. Perform a variety of tasks. Work under general supervision; typically reports to a project manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Clear and concise communication skills Wide degree of creativity and latitude Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals 16+ years - Experience in the field.
