We teach and learn from one another and push each other to be at our creative and analytical best. Performance Engineering at Venmo Performance quality is at the heart of Venmos success. The performance engineering team works to improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our platform. We do this by analyzing and optimizing the performance of our applications and platform. We rigorously stress/load test product and platform changes before we make them available to Venmo customers in the production environment. We also prepare our platform to scale seamlessly for high seasonal traffic on regular basis. We cover details from infrastructure, applications to databases and fine tune our systems.Venmo performance engineering team collaborates with multiple engineering and platform teams to deliver on the best customer experience for Venmo customers.
