The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex databases, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This role requires a strong background in database management, performance tuning, and problem resolution in a high-pressure environment.Key Responsibilities: Analyze and resolve complex database-related problems of medium to high complexity. Use advanced database/system management tools proficiently for monitoring and tuning. Monitor and optimize the performance of existing databases with moderate business exposure. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues proactively. Provide technical support to Services and Development teams. Design, create, implement, and support databases to meet project and system requirements. Implement moderately complex changes to existing databases. Install, configure, and upgrade database engines, ensuring compatibility with new product releases. Design and implement physical data models at the project level. Develop, document, and administer database backup, recovery, capacity, and security plans. Optimize SQL queries for both developers and end-users. Perform performance tuning using TASM (Teradata Active System Management). Work with NetBackup BAR Solution for data backup and recovery. Administer, maintain, and implement changes to existing databases as per customer requirements.
