The Automation Lead/Architect will be the go-to expert for solving complex technical challenges, designing automation strategies, and mentoring the team. Responsibilities: Lead multiple automation initiatives and promote best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SMEs, architects, cybersecurity, and infrastructure experts. Identify manual testing processes that can be automated to improve efficiency. Develop and maintain automated tests for desktop applications, APIs, scripts, and databases. Enhance and support in-house automation frameworks and test suites. Establish standards to ensure the quality, scalability, and maintainability of test automation tools. Troubleshoot and resolve issues by working with various teams. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in test automation across multiple platforms. 5+ years of leadership experience in automation initiatives. Strong expertise in automating tests for desktop applications, APIs, packaged, and custom applications. Advanced knowledge of testing strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices. 7+ years of experience collaborating with stakeholders, management, and vendors to drive solutions. Proficiency in at least one programming language and SQL, with experience in relational databases. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with technical and business stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with Tosca for test automation. Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration in large-scale environments. Background in the utility industry or similar sectors.
