Lead the collaboration with our ECU supplier to develop and implement a comprehensive QNX security policy, focusing on MAC and DAC. Elicit, analyze, and document security requirements from feature application owners, translating their access needs into concrete security policy rules. Define and refine the base security policy provided by the supplier, tailoring it to the specific needs and functionalities of our ECU and vehicle platform. Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the security policy, including rationale, implementation details, and potential impact on system performance. Validate the effectiveness of the security policy through testing and analysis, identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities. Provide technical guidance and support to the supplier throughout the implementation and integration of the security policy. Collaborate with internal security experts to ensure alignment with overall vehicle security architecture and best practices. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our security development processes. |

Experience (Years): |

4-6 |

Essential Skills: |

3+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems development, with a focus on security. Deep understanding of QNX operating system and its security features. Hands-on experience with defining and implementing MAC and DAC policies. Strong knowledge of automotive security standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 21434). Experience with security analysis techniques, such as threat modeling and vulnerability assessment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Doors, JAMA). Experience with software development lifecycle processes. Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Familiarity with security testing tools and techniques. Knowledge of cryptography and key management principles. |
