In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to refine technical changes, develop test cases, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within the RapidResponse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the RR tool, including authoring, analytics, and integration capabilities. A basic understanding of demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning, coupled with solid programming and system integration knowledge, is crucial. Key Responsibilities: Kinaxis RapidResponse Authoring & Analytics: Demonstrate proficiency in core RR authoring, analytics, and scripting, and apply it to support business processes effectively. Technical Reviews & Refinements: Review and refine technical changes related to the RR tool to ensure optimal functionality. Test Planning & Execution: Write test cases, perform unit testing, capture test results, and document the testing process for quality assurance. UAT & Hypercare Support: Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Hypercare, addressing any issues that arise post-deployment. Agile Delivery: Adhere to Agile practices, delivering projects in iterative cycles and ensuring continuous improvement. Best Practices Adherence: Ensure best coding practices by documenting and authoring clear notes and comments for enhanced project deliverables. Mentoring & Training: Assist with the hiring, training, and mentoring of new team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Stay Current on RR Tool Updates: Continuously upskill on the latest updates and changes in RapidResponse tools, particularly for authoring and analytics functionalities. Domain Knowledge Application: Apply domain knowledge of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and Capacity Planning, especially related to constraints and yields, to improve tool utilization. System Integration Support: Support system integration, connecting RapidResponse with other enterprise systems (interfaces, imports, exports). Operations Support Coordination: Work with Micron's Operations Support teams to resolve user issues and ensure smooth system performance. RR Tool Management: Manage resources like workbooks, automation tasks, forms, scripts, dashboards, and widgets to ensure efficient and effective tool usage. Analytical Knowledge: Leverage RR analytical tools such as Netting, CTP, FLP, and Attribute-Based Planning to enhance decision-making. Essential Skills & Experience: 5-6 years of experience in a business or IT functional role, with a preference for those with experience in Supply Chain Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Business Planning. 2-3 years of hands-on experience using Kinaxis RapidResponse, specifically in authoring, analytics, and scripting. Experience working within a manufacturing company, ideally in the high-tech or semiconductor industry. Proficiency in Cloud/SaaS applications and integration with on-premise systems. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements definition, functional specifications review, test plan development, user testing, training, and deployment. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology in a software release planning and execution environment. Ability to conduct in-depth systems design reviews and provide refined functional and technical specifications for system modifications or new functionality implementations. Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business leaders and users of the RapidResponse system. Desirable Skills: Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities. Problem-solving capabilities and timely decision-making skills in complex environments. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex industry. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Competencies: Digital: DevOps, ServiceNow IT Service Management, Kinaxis RapidResponse, and Supply Chain Management (SCM). Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
