In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data conversion functional designs, developing, building, and testing ETL jobs using SAP Data Services, and ensuring that high standards are met for solution development and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.Key Responsibilities: Data Conversion and ETL Development: Analyze data conversion functional designs and requirements to determine the best approach for data migration and transformation. Design, develop, and test ETL jobs using SAP Data Services to ensure smooth data conversion from source systems to SAP. Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation to meet business requirements during the data migration process. Quality and Standards: Establish, maintain, and adhere to high standards for solution development and project delivery. Ensure all developed solutions follow industry best practices and meet SAP-related functional and technical standards. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business teams, SAP functional consultants, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements for data conversion and ETL processes. Provide regular updates on the progress of the ETL jobs and data conversion tasks to project managers and team leads. Assist with troubleshooting data issues and resolving discrepancies in the data migration process. Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for SAP Data Services and the associated systems. Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP tools, technologies, and best practices for data conversion and ETL development. Business Trips (if required): Be willing to travel for business-related purposes as needed, to meet project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders in different locations.Essential Skills & Experience: 6-8 years of experience in ETL development and data conversion. At least 3 years of experience with SAP Data Services in designing and building ETL jobs. Strong knowledge and experience with databases such as HANA, MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, or other similar RDBMS. Technical knowledge of SAP modules (RFC, BAPI, IDOC, LSMW) and understanding how to interface with SAP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working in a collaborative environment with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders. Organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Willingness to travel for business trips as necessary. Familiarity with basic office software and office equipment operation.Desirable Skills: Functional knowledge of SAP modules is a plus. Experience with data migration processes and best practices in the SAP ecosystem. Good technical understanding of SAP Data Services and its integration with various SAP components. Strong team-playing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional team environment.Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex data tasks. Proactive, self-starter with a strong desire to learn and improve. Down-to-earth approach with a willingness to get hands-on in solving problems.
