Upgrade DB2 z/OS to the latest supported version. Install and Configure Always On HA and DR with multiple nodes on the Windows ServerFailover Clustering. Coordinate upgrade activities with DAS/OIT, Vendors and Application development. Conduct performance tuning for the Database system and the application including thez/OS and Windows platforms. Assist project teams with technical solutions. Lead the Data Modeling for the new applications and enhancements. Train the junior DBAs in the database technology. Respond to and resolve "production down" and critical system and application problemsand issues on a 24-hour basis, create Root Cause Analysis for the incident and takemeasures to prevent the similar incidents from future. Mandatory Requirements (Including Certifications, years performing... ) 15+years of Database Administration Experience. Excellent automation and scripting skills using REXX, QMF, JCL and power. Senior level experience with IBM Mainframe family of products. Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Experience working in a 24x7 production environment.Desired Requirements (Including Certifications, years performing... ) Strong experience with DB2 and SQL Server. Experience with Teradata is a plus. Knowledge of RACF is a plus.
