This is a multi-stage project, beginning with a feasibility study conducted by a third-party vendor (yet to be determined), followed by a lift-and-shift migration to Oracle Fusion. Key requirements: Highly organized PM to manage vendor analysis and system migration. Strong communication skills to collaborate with other PMs handling modernization initiatives. Focus on customizations in AP module, Order Management, and Bill of Sales, as they handle $20-$30 million in transactions monthly. Projects & Grants module is underutilized but could be leveraged further. We are seeking a seasoned consultant to oversee our clients transition from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion. This role will focus on vendor management, ensuring a smooth collaboration between the client, an assessment partner (TBD), and a third-party agency handling the upgrade. Given the clients highly customized Oracle Finance and HCM environments, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and project management to drive success. Additionally, this consultant will play a key role in cross-functional coordination as the company is modernizing its entire system landscape. A background in Financials/Accounting is highly preferred. Day to Day Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end Oracle EBS to Fusion migration, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility. Manage multiple vendors, including the assessment partner and implementation agency, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope. Act as the primary point of contact between the business, IT teams, and external partners. Identify and mitigate risks related to system customization, data migration, and integration. Collaborate with Finance, HCM, and IT teams to ensure smooth system functionality and user adoption. Provide strategic guidance on system architecture, leveraging expertise in Oracle ERP and HCM solutions. Ensure communication and coordination with other project managers leading modernization efforts. Report project progress to key stakeholders and executive leadership. Must Have Skillsets: 8+ years of experience in Oracle ERP implementations, with expertise in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion. Strong background in system architecture, particularly in Finance and HCM modules. Experience managing highly customized Oracle ERP environments. Proven track record in vendor management and working with third-party implementation partners. Solid project management skills, with the ability to drive complex initiatives to completion. Financials/Accounting background highly preferred to understand business impacts. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
