This role requires expertise in managing and supporting Splunk environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Splunk, system performance optimization, and scripting languages such as Python and . As part of the support team, you will be involved in resolving production incidents, improving system stability, and coordinating with various teams across regions.Key Responsibilities: Splunk Expertise: Perform installations, onboarding, and maintenance of Splunk environments. Create and manage SPL queries, dashboards, reports, and alerts. Configure and manage all Splunk components for optimal performance. Support & Incident Management: Provide 24x7 support for Splunk production environments. Triage and resolve Splunk production incidents in a timely manner. Actively participate in incident review discussions with business stakeholders. Collaboration & System Improvement: Engage with Development and Operations teams to enhance system performance and stability. Identify performance bottlenecks within the system and recommend viable solutions. Coordinate with regional and offshore teams to ensure seamless operations and support. Knowledge Sharing & Team Collaboration: Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions led by the development team to stay up to date with new features and best practices. Support internal teams by sharing insights and technical guidance to improve overall team performance.Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Splunk Administrator. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Splunk installation, configuration, and management. Expertise in creating and managing SPL queries, dashboards, reports, and alerts. Proficient in scripting and Python. Experience in supporting production environments and working in a 24x7 support model. Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills for production incidents and system performance issues. Experience with identifying and resolving system bottlenecks. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. Ability to participate in and lead discussions regarding system improvements and troubleshooting.Desired Skills & Competencies: Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Basic understanding of Java and Databases. Ansible knowledge is a plus.
