In this role, you will work with various IBM data technologies to manage and optimize data sources, including databases, data warehouses, and cloud solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data integration, data quality, and overall system performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage Data Sources: Administer and support IBM data solutions, including IBM Db2, IBM Netezza, and other relevant tools, ensuring data integrity and performance. Data Integration: Work with different data sources to ensure smooth data integration and processing. Optimization: Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure efficient data queries and processing. Data Quality & Security: Ensure the quality and security of data across platforms by applying best practices and monitoring data pipelines. Collaboration: Work closely with development, business intelligence, and analytics teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of processes, data models, and workflows for reference and future use. Qualifications: Proven experience working with IBM Db2, IBM Netezza, or other IBM data management solutions. Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with cloud-based IBM platforms such as IBM Cloud Pak for Data or IBM Watson Studio. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of data queries and databases. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams. Ability to work in a hybrid environment (on-site and remote). Preferred Skills: Experience with IBM Watson products and other AI-based data tools. Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
