Role: Sr. Tester Location: Menands, New York Duration: 18 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9049 Description The New York State Workers Compensation Board requires a Quality Assurance Tester for On Board limited release and Onboard Full release & Legacy Programs. Duties Create and maintain Test plans,Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, Test matrices for WCB Applications. Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and or JIRA. Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure Testing milestones and dates are met. Perform Test execution & Analyzing Test results and Reporting. Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations. Plan to ensure testing milestones and dates are met. Create and execute automated test cases and suites for Functional and Regression testing based on software requirements using automated tool such as UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Cypress, Selenium software for multiple applications using automated frameworks. Perform back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries. Perform script updates and maintenance using programming languages like Java,VB and J script. Perform API Testing using POSTMAN and SOAP UI tools Hands on with JMeter or LoadRunner performance or Neo load tools. Create Performance Test plans, Test scripts, Test data for performance Testing. Review bottle necks, baseline and scalability. Mandatory Requirements Experience (10+ Years) Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months experience as a QA team lead with expertise in handling,complex multiple projects simultaneously. 84 Months of experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts & Manage defects using tools such as HP ALM or JIRA. 72 Months of experience in creating and executing automated test scripts and suites for functional and regression testing using automated tool such as UFT (Unified Functional Testing) Selenium, Cypress for multiple applications using automated frameworks. 60 Months of experience in performing back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries. 36 Months performing Web services testing using SOAP UI /Postman API testing tools & REST assured. 12 Months performing load testing using JMeter or LoadRunner or Neo load performance tools.
