This role involves overseeing and managing a team of quality testers, ensuring that robotics systems meet high standards of quality, functionality, and performance. The Quality Manager will work closely with production and engineering teams to implement and refine testing protocols, identify quality improvement areas, and ensure that the robotics products comply with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Quality Management: Lead the quality assurance function for robotics systems and ensure that all products meet the required quality standards before release. Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, review testing results, and manage defect tracking. Team Leadership: Manage a team of robotics quality testers, providing guidance, training, and support. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment while ensuring alignment with company goals. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the testing phase and work with engineering teams to implement best practices and enhance testing procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate product quality. Collaboration with Production & Manufacturing: Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality benchmarks are being met at every stage of production. Provide feedback on quality issues and support the resolution process. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all testing and quality processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor and enforce adherence to these standards throughout the testing and production phases. Competencies: Production & Manufacturing Quality Assurance and Testing Essential Skills: Proven experience managing quality assurance teams, particularly in the robotics or manufacturing domain. Deep understanding of robotics systems, testing methods, and quality control processes. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with robotics industry standards and compliance regulations. Experience working with cross-functional teams in production and manufacturing environments. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Robotics, Manufacturing, or a related field. 8-10 years of experience in quality management, with a focus on robotics or manufacturing.
