In this role, the Senior Customer Engineer will act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the site, collaborating with various remote technical project teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing actions to close assigned projects, managing the overall project timelines, and ensuring seamless communication between all stakeholders. The Senior Customer Engineer will be integral to achieving project objectives while considering the site's operations, resources, and scope. Location: Durham, NC (North Carolina) Company: GE Aerospace Key Responsibilities: Act as the Single Point of Contact for the site during project calls with remote technical GEA project teams, ensuring the effective closure of assigned projects. Analyze and suggest the most effective methods to achieve project objectives on-site, considering site operations, available resources, and the size of the site. Lead and manage projects on-site, ensuring the completion of activities as per the project plan. Maintain up-to-date project plans and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and potential delays. Report directly to the GE DT lead on-site regarding project updates, progress, and any emerging challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that project objectives align with operational goals and constraints. Identify risks to project timelines and work proactively to mitigate those risks, ensuring the projects are completed on time and within scope. Competencies: Advanced understanding of Java Concepts and their application to project solutions. Experience (Years): 6-8 years of relevant experience in customer engineering or related technical fields. Essential Skills: The associate must be a citizen of the country and work from the client site in Durham, NC. Proven ability to act as a Single Point of Contact for clients and teams, managing the communication and resolution of technical issues. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to suggest and implement the most effective solutions to meet project objectives. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to maintain an up-to-date project plan and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks, stakeholders, and expectations simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to ensure all stakeholders are updated on project progress, risks, and actions. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with GE Aerospace operations and experience working within aerospace engineering projects. Experience with advanced Java concepts in the context of engineering applications or systems.
