Job Title: Developer - LoadRunner to Playwright Conversion (offshore) Location: India / Remote Domain: medical supply company Skype Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer/Developer with experience in LoadRunner and Playwright to help migrate and optimize performance test scripts from LoadRunner to Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of performance testing, scripting automation, and modern testing frameworks to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining test reliability and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing LoadRunner performance test scripts and identify dependencies. Design and develop equivalent Playwright automation scripts for performance and functional testing. Optimize Playwright scripts for scalability, maintainability, and efficiency. Work closely with QA, DevOps, and development teams to integrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines. Identify and resolve challenges related to protocol differences, test execution strategies, and data handling between LoadRunner and Playwright. Provide technical expertise and guidance on Playwright best practices and performance testing methodologies. Conduct test validation and result analysis to ensure accurate test execution and performance metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong experience with LoadRunner (Web, TruClient, or Protocol-based scripting). Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation and performance testing. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for Playwright scripting. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). Familiarity with performance monitoring and analysis tools (Grafana, Prometheus, APM tools, etc.). Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, APIs, and web application performance testing. Knowledge of test automation best practices and optimization techniques. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in migrating performance test suites from LoadRunner to Playwright. Knowledge of cloud-based performance testing and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to other test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or JMeter. Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot test failures.
