Will be building a new team with new & existing team members. Will be integrating and coordinating with existing teams (infrastructure, security), will also include some dependency management. Must also have PM experience. Financial reporting, PM coordination and business readiness and adoption of training plan. Candidates with Healthcare Insurance BG would be used as a tiebreaker Candidates should have scaled Agile experience, planning, complex financial services environment. Candidates having experience building teams from the ground up would be good. International block of business from Malta (manager wasnt sure exactly what it was), Group Benefits Health & Risk. Cloning application in house & migrating block of business. Top skills: Communications, Risk management & a fair amount of coaching If candidates have RTE, that would mean theyve done the dependencies & risks across teams, which theyll be doing on this project. Team size: 7 developers/testers, PO and Scrum Maste and will be leveraging other teams, but they wont be a part of this team. There will be coordination of up to 5-7 addl teams. Would assume candidates would have data migrations, transference or repatriation somewhere in their career. Candidates will have had to work with other operational teams in their career. Certifications: yes (SAFe), but experience is what matters. Would also expect to see PMP/PMI or some sort of PM certification also Agile cert. This is not a technical person (no SQL, etc.). Candidates not a fit: someone whos too verbose theyll be a problem The Scrum Master helps build high-performing teams by providing support with product delivery utilizing a deep understanding of Agile principles and team dynamics. The Agile Delivery Principal teaches the team Agile practices, facilitates Scrum ceremonies, and shields the team from external distractions. The Agile Delivery Principal brings the Product Owner and the team together and helps them understand each others roles and key objectives. This individual is also a personal coach for team members and an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement. In the Agile Delivery Principal role you may work as a Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer (RTE). There will be pieces of work that will need to be coordinated with other teams as well as external vendors. PERFORMANCE DETAILS 1. Whats the major objective(s) of the role Specifically, what does this person need to do to be considered a success What will they be working on The repatriation of a block of business from an external vendor onto a cloned system in Sun Life. Experience of similar types of projects would be a benefit. The main will be working in an agile environment but will be dealing with teams working in a more operational framework (infrastructure teams etc.). There might be business readiness activities as well that the SM/PM may be leading. 2.
