Role: Sr. Java Developer Location: Albany, New York Duration: 24 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10344 Description This position will support applications for the Office of Health Insurance Programs and will encompass various activities involving the collecting, massaging, and disseminating of data for purposes associated with the Medicaid program. Responsibilities could involve enhancements to current systems or development of new system components. Duties Writing/updating server-side, web-based applications for centralized systems in the HCS WebLogic environment using Java Enterprise. Writing/Updating stand-alone Java programs used for data ETL. Leveraging DB Objects in an Oracle database. Modifying or transitioning programs currently written in cgi/perl. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+Years) Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
