https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2239203&uid= From: Anju Pathak, Tek Inspirations LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - QA Performance Test Engineer W2 Dallas, TX Local or Very near by with Dallas Length of Contract 1 year + Hybrid in Dallas: 3 days onsite (Tue/Wed/Thu), 2 days remote Reason for Openings: Expanding QA Performance Engineering team (currently 9 team members) to increase testing coverage for the North Star SAP S/4HANA project Must-Have Technical Skills (Strict Requirements) Pure Performance Engineer NOT a QA Analyst or Automation Engineer with some performance testing Performance Testing Lifecycle Expertise Requirements gathering, scripting, execution, results analysis, monitoring tools, SLAs **Hands-on with: LoadRunner & JMeter (both required) GitHub (basic understanding; used for storing scripts & running tasks) Performance Monitoring Tools: DynaTrace (primary), Datadog Batch Job Testing Experience Understanding SAP batch processes --SAP S/4HANA Performance Testing (Highly Need) Specifically experience with SAP GUI & Fiori applications --Self-Starter / Independent Worker Don values candidates who take initiative and dont wait for instructions What Makes a Strong Candidate Stand Out Experience testing SAP protocols in LoadRunner (SAP GUI & SAP Fiori applications) Deep understanding of backend performance metrics (CPU, memory, SLA adherence, response time analysis) Strong experience analyzing test results and identifying system bottlenecks Previous experience working on large-scale enterprise systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA Candidate Search Strategy Search for: Performance Test Engineers (not QA Analysts or Automation Engineers) LoadRunner + JMeter expertise SAP S/4HANA testing experience (SAP GUI, Fiori, batch jobs, SAP protocol in LoadRunner) Experience with performance monitoring tools (DynaTrace preferred, Datadog as alternative) ***NON-INTAKE NOTES: Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Experience in software and system performance, load, stress, and spike testing is required 7+ years of related experience Experience testing of applications on web-based, client/server, and mobile platforms Demonstrated experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or LRE is required Working knowledge of relational database technology and SQL Understanding of database architecture/concepts Experience in agile/scrum development methodology Familiarity with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing process Solid cross-group collaboration skills and have a history of working with internal partners on technical issues Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities Problem solving skills and the ability to work with senior leaders to establish strategies Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques Experience with SAP is highly desired. Demonstrated command and experience working with JIRA and Confluence highly desired Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Technical Field Proven verbal and written communications skills in English. Other languages are a plus **Preferred Qualifications: Experience with monitoring tools (DynaTrace, Performance Center, AppDynamics, JProfiler, Datadog, NinjaOne) is a plus Experience with test automation technology and automated test tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress, TestNG, Playwrite, UFT/QTP, TestComplete, etc.) is a plus Overview: The QA Performance Test Engineer is responsible for the design, development and execution of automated performance, load, and stress test cases as part of the non- functional test activity for enterprise software applications, web sites, mobile, and other software applications. The QA Performance Test Engineer will interact and collaborate primarily with QA test team members, as well as Development Engineering and Product Marketing to develop test strategies. All test and debug activities will be executed according to project plans and schedules, while adhering to defined quality requirements and reported through established tracking tools and systems.
