Adept at troubleshooting customer voice issues, executing comprehensive test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Proficient in VoIP technologies, TCP/IP networking protocols, and embedded systems development. Core Responsibilities: Design, Develop, and Test: Developed and tested Digital Voice features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender products. Technical Assistance: Provided technical support to teams to troubleshoot customer voice issues. Test Plans and Cases: Developed and executed comprehensive test plans and regression testing of voice features. Defect Analysis: Analysed test results, identified defects, and tracked them through Jira. Collaboration: Worked with developers and triage engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Process Improvement: Contributed to the improvement of QE processes and best practices. Test Automation: Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks. Technology Updates: Stayed up to date with the latest Wi-Fi technologies and testing methodologies. Agile/DevOps: Worked in an Agile/DevOps environment. Team Culture: Promoted a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Preferred Technical Skills IVR Systems: Experience with IVR systems for automating interactions with callers. VoIP Technologies : Deep understanding of VoIP technologies, RTP, and QoS for prioritizing voice traffic and maintaining call quality. Networking Protocols : Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and experience with embedded systems development. RDKB Tech Stack: Working experience with RDKB tech stack and core networking concepts. SOC and OEM Layers : Good knowledge of SOC and OEM layers and components like Docsis, HAL. Docsis and Voice Automation: Experience with Docsis 3.1/4.0/FDX and voice test automation frameworks and tools. Embedded Linux : Knowledge of OpenWrt or similar embedded Linux distributions. Mesh Networking: Experience with mesh networking technologies and understanding of IPv4/IPv6 networking. Diagnostic Tools: Knowledge of network diagnostic tools and packet analyzers (Wireshark, tcpdump). CCSP Architecture : Understanding of CCSP architecture. Wi-Fi Drivers : Familiarity with Wi-Fi drivers, especially open-source drivers like hostapd. Network Security : Understanding of network security protocols and WPA/WPA2/WPA3. Linux and Yocto: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and Yocto.
