Role: Sr. Technical Business Analyst with CBAP Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 10297 Description The VistA/Pharmacy Management and Replacement of Jaspersoft Reports project combines medication and vaccine data to a single schema for comprehensive medication and vaccine reporting with requested data elements from the VistA application. This includes both existing and new patient and pharmacy management data elements from the Data Warehouse. Included as a subset of the Legacy application remediation project, OBIEE Reports will be developed and will replace the existing Crystal Reports in the Fiscal Integration System (FIS) application.FIS is an OMH System used by Patient Resources Office to track all aspects of Inpatient and Outpatient movements and financial status, as well as classifies individuals by age/program/legal status. A new OMH Electronic Health Record (EHR) system will be implemented, to ensure that the Electronic Health Record system replaces source data for all areas of legacy data. The business analyst will collaborate with OMH business owners and EHR projects team members to ensure a cohesive approach to business analysis, data management, and quality through all phases of the Electronic Health Record project implementation. Duties Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, communicate and validate the requirements for changes to current business reporting requirements and policies for the development of new operational reports and analytics. Conduct data analysis of business and user needs and developing business requirements documents in accordance with the requirements and protocol of the ITS EIM Division during multiple project phases to convert the numerous Oracle Portals, Business Areas, and Discoverer Workbooks to the current Oracle analytical reporting platform. Create business documentation (Business Requirement documents, use cases, swim lanes, process documentation) that detail the Business Intelligence reporting requirements and deliverables for reports, dashboards, and ad hoc tools. Work closely with Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence technical team members and various OMH Business Owners to create Business Requirement documentation and to communicate the business requirements to the technical team for development of logical and physical dimensional data model reporting requirements. Collaborate with data modelers, ETL developers, programmers and the business owners to translate report requirements, provide clarification of business rules, prioritize development, obtain signoff and ensure successful delivery of accurate end user reporting requirements Create and execute test scripts, scenarios, and test plans to validate initial business requirements and report output through the DEV, QA and PROD migrations testing for accuracy and sign off on deliverables. Assist in providing training & end user support for OMH staff utilizing the Analytics tool. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience with business intelligence tools to design reports, or data analysis business solutions for operational reports. 84 months experience in quality assurance testing of reports, SQL analytics, Oracle SQL knowledge, managing defects, development of report user acceptance documents including test plans. 60 months experience soliciting report requirements, end user documentation development, specifically business reporting requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, report mockups, wire frames, and flow diagrams 60 months experience with all phases of support specifications development including design, testing and maintenance of reports 60 months experience in Business Intelligence tools and a data analytical background. 60 months experience with developing end user training materials for use of Analytics, Dashboards, and/or Business Intelligence or application reports. 60 months experience developing and implementing system and work-flow processes in an Business Intelligence environment. Bachelors degree in business intelligence, information science, criminal justice, health science, computer science, mathematics, or public/business administration.
