In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using our customized fork of the Robot Framework to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to integrate test automation into our CI/CD pipelines, improve test coverage, and optimize testing efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using our customized fork of the Robot Framework. Design and implement automated test suites for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Analyze test results, debug failures, and work with engineers to resolve defects. Enhance and optimize test automation frameworks, libraries, and tools. Maintain test data and environments to ensure consistent and reliable test execution. Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by automating test execution and reporting. Document test plans, test cases, and automation strategies. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging test automation tools and technologies. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in test automation with a strong background in Robot Framework (or its forks/custom versions). Proficiency in Python (or another scripting language) for test development. Hands-on experience with test automation for web applications, APIs, and databases. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Ability to debug test failures and analyze logs effectively. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other web/mobile automation tools. Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution. Familiarity with performance testing and security testing tools. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Understanding of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
