Visa: USC/GC/GCEAD/H4EAD This is a greenfield web application being built for Bureau of Public Transit to replace and enhance a legacy system using the latest .NET and Angular technologies for deployment to the Azure cloud. The application will allow easier communication between various systems while enhancing lines of business and looking forward to future changes and systems enhancements. Prospective initial deployment of the application is March 2025 with additional deployments scheduled quarterly. Skill Required / Desired Amount Number of years .NET Core and C#, for building backend services and applications. Required 8 ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core for building web applications. Required 8 SQL Server / T-SQL, recent experience with Azure SQL. Required 8 APIs and Integration, RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture. Required 8 Testing frameworks: XUnit/NUnit, Prefer: Jasmine and Karma. Required 8 ORM, such as Entity framework and Dapper. Required 8 Containerization: Prefer: Docker Required 8 Cloud services with implementation in .NET: Azure Function, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure container registry, Key Vault. Required 8 Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Prefer: prior experience with jQuery and Bootstrap), Angular with recent experience with Angular 14 or greater. Required 8 Tools: Visual Studio with recent experience in VS2022 and VS Code, Azure DevOps /Git. Required 8 Knowledge of responsiveness and mobile-first development Required Knowledge of Design Patterns and Solid principles Required Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion Required Knowledge of regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA) Required Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA requirements Required Experience designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android) Required Experience applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices. Required Experience optimizing for the accessibility features of the platform (HTML, iOS, Android) Required Experience developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.
