Create documentation for SLM compliance Detailed Job Description Linux/Ubuntu Admin JD - Job description: Linux Administration Primary Skills - (RHEL/Ubuntu/Cent OS/ Oracle Enterprise Linux), Secondary Skills UNIX, Cloud (AWS/Azure) Administrators must install new Linux OS releases, configure, upgrade, patch, and secure servers. They install, patch installations, upgrade, and maintain Cisco/Dell/HP - based system hardware and software. Kernel and patches up-gradation of Linux servers. Virtualization Basic knowledge in (scripting bash/python/Perl), Ansible Basic knowledge. Perform server (Cisco/HP/Dell) hardware maintenance. Coordinate hardware maintenance with application and development teams Make recommendations for hardware upgrades and research new hardware solutions Maintain physical and logical diagrams, Server Asset Inventory of hardware environment. User and File system administration and performance tuning Troubleshoot OS related, Kernel related, server crash related issues Install/maintain patch, administer and monitor the systems. Resolve server issues & Provide Root cause Analysis. Install recommended vulnerability fixes on server as per RHEL suggestion.
