This role requires expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing and managing the enterprise cloud platform while providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Amazon Web Services with a focus on security and compliance Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve cloud platform efficiency Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members in implementing cloud strategies Develop monitoring and metrics collection strategies to enhance visibility and implement alerting for service reliability Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in an agile delivery environment Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Cloud Technical Lead or in a similar role Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services, including ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and DynamoDB Proficiency in cloud infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and lead teams in designing and building cloud solutions Proficiency in Golang and Python Preferred experience with DBT, PostgreSQL, and GitLab CI/CD Mandatory Skills: AWS Certified Security Specialty or other relevant cloud certifications Expertise in application and AWS cloud architecture and related technologies Experience designing and implementing cloud-based identity and access management solutions Ability to develop high-quality technical documentation, including data models, process diagrams, and high-level designs Experience with HashiCorp and Terraform for infrastructure automation Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team at Ally Financial, contributing to cutting-edge cloud platform solutions while working in a hybrid environment.
