Global Own product suites offer an end-to-end digital owner experience to Ford/Lincoln customers globally through web and mobile engagement. With both authenticated and unauthenticated journeys, the Global Own platform enables customers in over 60 markets to learn about their vehicles, access critical and connected vehicle information, and take appropriate actions to keep their vehicles running at their best. The Global Own platform, running on Google Cloud Platform, is built upon headless micro-frontend architecture using Next.js and Adobe Experience Manager. As a senior AEM software engineer, you will: Work closely with Product Owners/Managers, regional stakeholders, Engineering Delivery Managers, Enterprise Architects, and fellow engineers to lead the delivery of scalable and secured customer-facing solutions utilizing AEM headless architecture. Provide technical guidance to the entire engineering team and mentor junior software engineers. Inspire changes and lead the development of innovative ideas from concept to fruition. Responsibilities: Lead the initiative to migrate the current on-prem AEM platform to the AEM Cloud platform. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and other product teams to standardize AEM implementation strategy. Define and develop solutions based on sound application architecture. Work with the Platform Engineering team to automate testing, security compliance, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring; support infrastructure upgrades; and support development metrics. Provide 2nd-tier support for production issues. Collaborate with various enterprise groups to ensure the security and legal compliance of the products.
