Position: Data Catalog Lead with Data Governance Locations: Miami, FL Duration: Contract Job Description: As a Data Catalog Specialist, provide advice and best practices to use Collibra - understand the tool, the operating model and how it can be configured, as well as create training materials and provide walk-throughs of the tool. Build-out enterprise data catalog for the business and technical metadata for the Data Platform dataset in Alpha Platform. Ingest and scan the metadata into Collibra. Gather technical metadata the creating, organizing, and maintaining (curation) of data assets such as, description of schemas, tables, columns, owners, etc., and mapping to business terms. Document business metadata to capture and define business terms for Business Glossary. Map Business Glossary to technical metadata. Tag technical and business metadata. Import Business Glossary and establish mappings and relationships. Capture and inventory code lists for CDEs. Perform classification of data domains and data classification. Also as a Data Governance SME, work with Data Stewards to consolidate Business Glossaries and Data Dictionaries. Technical Skills: 1. SQL 2. Collibra Platform 4. Collibra Connect integration of Collibra with other systems. 6. Metadata Management using Collibra 7. Data Governance Principles 8.
