Title: Devops Engineer with Strong experience in GCP Location: Phoenix, AZ (3 days onsite from day one) Salary: $110-115k Plus Benefits Minimum Experience: 12+ Years Mandatory Skills: GCP, Terraform, GKE, Python, Splunk or Dynatrace Responsibilities: -Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience -6 + years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), with a focus on IaC and immutable infrastructure. -6 + years of experience with GCP cloud offerings -Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKE/Anthos product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis. -Software development experience in one of the OO programming language: Java, Go and or Python -Understanding good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility. -Strong background of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift -Understanding of Traffic Flow Management, to include Service Mesh concepts, with experience in Istio preferred, as well as how GTM and LTMs manage traffic flows. -Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics. -FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred - Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions -Confirmed support of production systems at scale. -Willing to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential -Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
