LinkedIn: (1) Feed | LinkedIn Please find the job description below and let me know if you are interested: Role: GCP Data Engineer Location- New York NY Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Dataflow, Apache Beam, or Cloud Composer (Airflow). Implement data warehousing solutions with BigQuery, ensuring efficient data modeling and query optimization. Work with Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Kafka for real-time and batch data ingestion. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager. Ensure data governance, security, and compliance with GCP best practices. Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to support analytics and machine learning workloads. Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Troubleshoot data quality and pipeline failures, implementing proactive monitoring solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications: experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in cloud environments. Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions. Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (or Java/Scala) for data processing. Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow. Familiarity with real-time data processing using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Spark Streaming. Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD for data engineering workflows (Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build). Experience with Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for infrastructure automation. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
