Share Your Best Resumes At [email protected] Please SHARE CURRENT LOCATION/VISA/ LinkedIn WITH RESUME Position Title: JIRA Developer/Architect Specialist Specialty Tech Consultant Location: Metro-Detroit, Michigan (Hybrid position requiring 13days/Qtr onsite in the office location ) We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated JIRA Developer/Architect who can design, build, and configure applications to optimize business processes and application requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in JIRA administration, customization, automation, and integration with other enterprise tools. Roles & Responsibilities Act as the SME for Atlassian tools, build, customize, and support the Atlassian JIRA workflow capability as well as strategic planning initiatives with Atlassian tools Configure, support and maintain automation workflows, permission schemes, Add-ons and modules to expand the capabilities of Atlassian stack Deep working experience in JSM and Jira Work Management Expertise in both on-prem and cloud (Saas) instances Build Customized dashboards for JIRA Timely and cost-effective implementation Skills Required 8+ years of experience with Atlassian suite of tools, primarily JIRA, JSM, JWM and Confluence both from configuration standpoint and development aspect 3+ years of software development experience using Java and web-based architectures and technologies (XML, JSON) - ie. Computer Science background Proficient experience utilizing JavaScript, JSP, SQL, Python and other programming languages to enable efficient data Intergrations Familiar with Configuration Management and CI Tools, such as, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven etc. 5+ years of experience with Agile software development and flow-based practices Strong architectural experience using JIRA as a platform for best implementing best practices 5+ years of Product Management experience in defining strategy, and roadmaps Collaborate closely with different working streams, architects and engineers Ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps and get things done in a rapidly changing environment Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership. Other Requirements Experience with JIRA analytics is a plus Experience in JIRA performance tuning, database optimization, and troubleshooting. Past development expertise outside of JIRA (e.g. API development, Java/Python/Scripting) Expert in the implementation of Atlassian Plugins Ability to plan, prioritize, and support multiple concurrent projects Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the use of debuggers Assess the risks, and implements mitigation and contingency plan Ability to analyze complex problems and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions. Experience in JIRA performance tuning, database optimization, and troubleshooting.
