Job Title: UI/UX design / Frontend Developer Location: Chicago, IL (Remote) - This is a remote position, but client prefers candidates local to Chicago Duration: 6 to 12 Months Note: This is a remote position, but client prefers candidates local to Chicago Also submit diversity candidates QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Graphics/Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent certifications. Experience: At least three years of relevant front-end development experience, with a strong focus on translating design to code. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks with an emphasis on responsive, mobile-first UI/UX design. Strong skills in Figma for component library management and high-fidelity design implementation. Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS and modern JavaScript libraries (React, Vue, or Angular). Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA) and best practices in inclusive design. Familiarity with form tools like Gravity Forms and experience with image library management. Experience with version control (Git) and code optimization practices for cross-browser compatibility. Basic PHP knowledge and experience with WordPress development is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, culturally diverse environment.
