Job Title: Lead Automation Tester Location: Maryland Heights, Missouri- HYBRID(NEED LOCAL CANDIDATE) Description:- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies and be proficient in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber and other similar tools, alongside a good knowledge of programming languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Junit and Cucumber (BDD) tests for web application testing. Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing. Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards. Utilize Java and JavaScript for creating automation test frameworks and scripts. Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Continuously improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance. Ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards. Keep up with the latest trends and technologies in test automation. Requirements: Proven experience in test automation with Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber. Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python. Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation. Solid understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices. Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with additional test automation tools and frameworks. Knowledge of version control systems like Git . Java programming language.
