In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to: 1. Strong UI/UX design skills showcasing problem solving techniques focused on the customer. 2. Expertise in design software such as Figma, Fig jam, and Miro. 3. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and practices. 4. Strong understanding of usability principles, journey mapping techniques, information architecture, and interaction design. 5. Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to support evidence-focused design decisions. 6. Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and process. 7. Define and execute a customer centric strategy to focus on the customer experience through user research 8. Strong journey mapping experience. 9. Developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs 10. Collaborating with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendly software 11. Understand product specifications and user psychology 12. Conduct concept and usability testing and gather feedback 13. Create personas through user research and data 14. Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success 15. Work with existing UI Developer to create wireframes and prototypes around customer needs 16. Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability) 17. Ability to lead and manage a team Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business or other relevant discipline such as UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Design Thinking, or a related discipline. 2. 5-7+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer responsible for Design and UX Research and advocating for customer experience 3. 3 5 years of user research and usability testing Other Qualifications: 1. Strong Interpersonal and consultative skills Seeks understanding, excellent listener 2. Strong presentation and communication skills 3. Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, marketing and key stakeholders 4. Detail-oriented and able to deliver at an elevated level of accuracy 5. Experience working with agile development methodologies. 6. Strong portfolio showcasing web application projects, detailing your role and process 7. Strong portfolio of design projects 8. Proven expertise in creating designs that work seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes 9. Background in project management and research 10. Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture 11. Proficient in design software (e.g. Figma) 12. Some knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript/React is a plus 13. Problem-solving aptitude 14. Analytical mind with a business acumen 15. Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions and thought processes Suman G.
