This work involves: Ensuring the migration of applications to lower environments and the production environment. Ensuring version control of applications and syncing data connections between respective environments. Observing regular change management and security scan processes. Refactoring code to remediate deprecated code due to version upgrade and potential security vulnerabilities.Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in ColdFusion development. Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodologies and project organization.Key Responsibilities: Partner with a small agency project team to carry out migration work. Ensure all development work is approved by application development leadership for consistent use of coding and security standards and long-term application support. Understand project organization and methodology within Agile (Scrum) organizations. Comprehend and communicate complex technical designs and implementations as well as complex business processes. Contribute to project plans, status reports, and other related project artifacts, as necessary. Provide technical documentation, communication, and technical support, as necessary. Participate in the development and execution of presentations as required to leadership and oversight entities.Technical Skills and Experience Required: Design, develop, update, and migrate ColdFusion applications, including but not limited to: Configuring ColdFusion web applications using IIS Web Server. Using ColdFusion Admin console. Enabling different levels of logging options in ColdFusion. Knowledge of deprecated functionality and changes to functionality from CF9 to CF21. Conducting testing to verify logic and ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements. Troubleshooting and correcting coding errors/issues. Providing status updates on work assignments and any technical issues that present risk to project timeline as required by selected project framework. Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ability to work in an agile software development environment.
