No Relocation, No Non Locals Responsibilities: Data Modeling and Design: Design and implement robust and scalable object-oriented data models to support application requirements. ORM Implementation: Utilize ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, Entity Framework) to map object models to relational database schemas. Database Interaction: Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions for efficient data retrieval and manipulation. Data Access Layer Development: Build and maintain a well-structured and efficient data access layer that encapsulates database interactions. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to database queries and data access patterns. Code Maintenance and Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data management and database interactions. API Development: Develop and maintain APIs for data access and integration with other systems. Business Rules Implementation: Implement business logic and data validation rules within the ODM layer. Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, testers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software. Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of data models, database schemas, and data access logic. ODM Product Expertise (If applicable): If the company utilizes a specific ODM product (e.g., IBM ODM), utilize and maintain that system. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in software development with a focus on database management and ORM. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python). Experience with relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server). Solid understanding of SQL and database design concepts. Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, Entity Framework). Experience in API development (RESTful APIs). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with [Specific technologies used by the company, e.g., cloud platforms, specific frameworks] is a plus. Experience with [Specific ODM products used by the company, e.g., IBM ODM] is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
