Our client is seeking an experienced iSeries AS400 Administrator to manage and troubleshoot a diverse set of systems across two distinct environments. This role is integral to ensuring database performance, supporting development teams, and maintaining critical business applications. The ideal candidate will be a recognized subject matter expert in iSeries AS400 Administration with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities: Database Management: Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot database performance issues. Manage schemas, views, tables, stored procedures, and triggers. Development Support: Maintain test environments, configure databases, and collaborate with teams on data models. Ensure database changes follow best practices. Technical Oversight: Review and approve database changes, create documentation, and support application upgrades and configurations. Collaboration & Improvement: Work cross-functionally to support business objectives and stay updated on industry best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Expertise in iSeries AS400 Administration and database management. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent research and communication skills. Education & Experience: Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
