The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Python scripting, regression testing, and automation within the financial domain.Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and execution of Python-based regression test cases to ensure the reliability and performance of trading systems. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand functional and technical requirements. Optimize and maintain automation frameworks for testing capital markets applications. Develop and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and integrations for market data processing. Ensure code quality, compliance, and best practices by implementing CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and test automation strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and security in trading applications. Mentor and guide junior developers/testers in Python development and automation best practices.Required Skills: 12+ years of experience in software development and automation using Python. Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Trading Systems, or Banking. Experience in scripting regression test cases using Python for financial applications. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like PyTest, Selenium, or Robot Framework. Knowledge of FIX protocol, market data feeds, order management systems (OMS), or execution management systems (EMS) is a plus. Strong expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases for financial data processing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment with cross-functional teams.
