Job Title: JAMF Consultant Location: Texas, Kansas, USA (Onsite) Key Responsibilities: Administer, configure, and support JAMF Pro environments to manage Apple devices (macOS, iOS, iPadOS). Perform device enrollment, profile configuration, and security management via JAMF Pro. Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and maintain applications, system updates, and configurations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Apple devices, including deployment failures, device misconfigurations, and network issues. Create and maintain scripts and automation workflows for device management. Ensure compliance with security policies and implement data protection strategies across all devices. Monitor and optimize the performance of JAMF Pro server, troubleshooting and resolving incidents as needed. Provide technical support to end-users for all Apple devices managed via JAMF. Generate and analyze JAMF reports and dashboards to maintain device health and security compliance. Assist in training staff and end-users on JAMF-related procedures and best practices. Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and features in JAMF and related technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: 6-10 years of experience in a technical role related to Apple device management. Expertise in JAMF Pro (including JAMF 300 and 400 certifications are highly preferred). Strong understanding of Apple device management across macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or for automation and configuration management. Experience with security policies, compliance management, and MDM systems. Hands-on experience with macOS and iOS deployment strategies. Solid troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software-related issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and end-users. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills: JAMF 300 and 400 Certifications. Experience with other Apple management tools or MDM systems. Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
