Title : Senior Remedy Developer Location : Denver, CO (Onsite 4 days in a week) About the Position: We are seeking a Senior Remedy Developer to join our client's Technology Operations team, previously known as Network Operations. This position will be responsible for supporting Remedy application, focusing on troubleshooting, system maintenance, and supporting the transition to our next-generation Helix environment. The team is responsible for managing 140 servers that support trouble ticketing, customer outages, and ensuring smooth network operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level support for the Remedy application, working closely with Customer Operations to deliver insights regarding network outages and customer impacts. Work hands-on with Remedy, including transitioning from the legacy Remedy platform to the new Helix environment. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve complex issues within Java, Linux OS, and Oracle databases. Lead efforts in Oracle database interactions, identifying performance issues, and providing solutions. Support Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Tomcat environments, ensuring their seamless integration within Remedy and Helix systems. Work closely with engineers and other teams to facilitate changes, upgrades, and improvements to the Remedy platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new tools, including the new Helix dashboarding tool, Refana. Utilize Agile and SAFe methodologies to drive continuous improvement and efficient operations. Must-Have Skills and Experience: Extensive experience with Remedy development and architecture at a senior level. Strong understanding of Linux, Oracle, RDBMS, and TCP/IP networks. Expertise in Java, Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Tomcat. Deep knowledge of database interactions, particularly in Oracle, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize DB performance. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, specifically Remedy to Helix migration, and navigate Oracle monitoring tools. Strong understanding of IP networking, with hands-on troubleshooting experience. Experience with Agile/SAFe development practices. Nice-to-Have Skills and Experience: Background in systems engineering, software engineering, or DevOps roles. Prior experience with other ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or PeopleSoft, with the ability to quickly adapt and translate that knowledge to Remedy. Familiarity with the Helix upgrade process and BMC's next-gen platform architecture. Key Attributes for Success: Highly technical with the ability to dive deep into Remedy, Helix, and Oracle systems to identify issues and propose solutions. Strong communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to think on your feet and make decisions under pressure during troubleshooting or implementation phases. Problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail and a focus on system optimization.
