We are seeking a highly skilled
Database Administrator to manage and optimize our Oracle and PostgreSQL
databases. 

The ideal candidate will be
responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance
tuning of our databases,ensuring their availability, reliability, and
security.

Key Responsibilities:

                 Install,
configure, and maintain Oracle andPostgreSQL databases.

                 Perform
database backups, restores, and disasterrecovery operations.

                 Monitor
database performance and optimizequeries and indexes for improved
performance.

                 Analyze
and resolve performance issues throughquery optimization, indexing, and
tuning.

                 Implement
and monitor database performancemetrics and alerts.

                 Conduct
regular database health checks andperformance reviews.

                 Ensure
database security through usermanagement, access control, and encryption.

                 Implement
and enforce database security policiesand compliance requirements.

                 Monitor
and audit database activities to detectand respond to security threats.

                 Apply
patches, updates, and upgrades todatabases and related systems.

                 Manage
database migrations and version upgradeswith minimal downtime.

                 Develop
and maintain documentation for databaseconfigurations, procedures, and
policies.

                 Provide
technical support and troubleshootingfor database-related issues.

                 Collaborate
with development and operationsteams to resolve database-related problems.

                 Participate
in on-call rotation and respond tocritical incidents as needed.

                 Design
and implement robust backup and recoverystrategies for databases.

                 Test
and validate backup and recovery proceduresto ensure data integrity and
availability.

                 Monitor
backup processes and address any issuesrelated to backup failures.

Qualifications and Preferred
Skills:

                 Bachelors
degree in computer science,Information Technology, or a related field.

                 Proven
experience as a Database Administratorwith expertise in Oracle and
PostgreSQL.

                 Strong
knowledge of database design, datamodeling, and SQL.

                 Experience
with database performance tuning,backup and recovery, and security practices.

                 Familiarity
with scripting languages (e.g.,Python, ) for automation tasks.

                 Excellent
problem-solving skills and attentionto detail.

                 Strong
communication and collaborationabilities.

                 Certifications
in Oracle Database Administration(e.g., OCA, OCP) and PostgreSQL.

                 Experience
with additional database technologiesor cloud databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure
SQL).

                 Knowledge
of database high availabilitysolutions and clustering.

Absences greater than two weeks
MUST be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must
be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her
absence. The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does
