Job Title: Senior SCADA Engineer (AspenTech & Experience) Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration of project: Full-Time Required visa: USC and GC only Mode of Interview: Video General Description We are seeking a qualified OSI/AspenTech monarch Senior SCADA Engineer for position in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves programming, system configuration, system documentation, factory acceptance testing, start-up and commissioning, and support activities for both new and existing monarch SCADA systems and their additional modules and platforms. Qualifications Bachelors degree in a Technical Field with 3+ years of relevant work experience in OSI/AspenTech monarch systems. Experience and proficiency with the following platforms is highly desired: Additional PLCs, DCS, HMI, SCADA platforms. Electrical Protection Relays (Multilin, SEL). Historian systems. Other (Omni Flow Computer, ROC, Presets). Strong knowledge of Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC communication protocols. Solid understanding of P&IDs, control panel wiring drawings, and field wiring diagrams. Familiarity with external notification systems (text, email, mobile apps, etc.). Experience with DeviceNet and/or Profibus communications protocols is a plus. Responsibilities Develop and update project documentation, including system configurations, networking diagrams, system architectures, and other critical deliverables. Execute project scopes of work by designing, configuring, integrating, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems using OSI/AspenTech monarch SCADA systems. Assist in the creation of logic diagrams, cause & effect matrices, and functional narratives. Review and contribute to control panel design packages, field wiring diagrams, conduit & cable schedules, and other E&I deliverables. Participate in field verification activities, user requirements walkdowns, and client meetings. Conduct unwitnessed and witnessed factory acceptance testing. Provide field start-up and commissioning support, including troubleshooting both in-person and remotely. Deliver client training and ensure system knowledge transfer. Offer after-hours support for clients as needed. Collaborate with Senior Engineering Leads and Project Managers to maintain project quality, adhere to budgets, and ensure timely delivery. Maintain regular communication with Project Managers regarding progress, issues, and potential scope changes. Travel requirements: approximately 25%, with flexibility for air travel.
